It was with
great sadness that we were forced to say goodbye to our beloved
William. We were immensely privileged to be able to share William’s
life for what turned out to be a desperately short period, but in
that time he brought us, and all who came into contact with him,
such joy. Although William was scared of pretty much everything he
enjoyed life to the full; – except going out that is. William could
not understand why we could not simply restrict his walks to the
garden and the track up the hill at the back of the house; anywhere
new was a nightmare and we eventually caved in to his reclusive
demands! William brought so much joy to our lives and was a constant
and faithful companion so we didn’t mind the travel restrictions he
imposed. He will forever hold a special place in our hearts and will
never be forgotten. William died on 6th May 2012. .
